Pecan Pie: November Cupcake of the Month

Fall is in the air and Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner!  Our November cupcake is Pecan Pie. Can you taste this one already? You're mouth is watering and you are thinking of the last time you ate this wonderful pie. Now you can get it in a cupcake.  A perfect flavor for any Fall event or occasion. This cupcake has a rich butter pecan cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting and roasted pecans on top. We are going to keep October's flavor, Pumpkin Spice available through November. We will be introducing our December cupcakes very soon so you can plan ahead for your holiday parties!

Chocolate cupcakes are a yummy treat served at gourmet bakeries and kitchen tables across the country.

Cupcakes first emerged during the 19th century in the United States. There are two theories about how they got their name. One claims that the miniature cakes were originally baked in cups. The other suggests that the name comes from the recipe, which was measured out by the cup—one cup butter, two cups sugar, three cups flour, four eggs, one cup milk, one spoonful baking soda.

Cupcakes are now made with a variety of flavors, ingredients, and decorations, but simple chocolate cupcakes remain a perennial favorite.
